We believe in fresh skincare, made with the freshest ingredients possible.
We believe that the most potent and effective botanical ingredients for skincare products are organically grown and are truly fresh! From the beginning, we knew that we wanted to produce as many of our ingredients as we could - our 1,200 acre certified Organic farm in Vermont allows us to do just that.
Nestled in the heart of the Champlain Valley of Vermont, our 1,200 acre farm is home to the headquarters for the entire Tata Harper Skincare operation. In 2011, we took the steps to receive Organic Certification from Vermont Organic Farmers for herb production, fruit production and alfalfa and oat production because we believe in farming and gardening without the use of chemicals to respect the health of the land and our bodies. We do not use any chemicals in the process of growing the herbal and flower ingredients that we source for our products from our farm.
Each year we cultivate herbs and flowers that we use in our proprietary formulas, including: Meadowsweet, Arnica, Calendula, Borage, Lemonbalm, Safflower, Lavender, Alfalfa, and many more. Cultivating our own ingredients gives us insight into the agricultural aspect of skincare product development, and being involved in every part of the process gives us a strong sense of ownership and pride for our finished product.
No Animal Testing
We believe in and support cruelty-free beauty & skincare products. We're animal lovers at heart!
Just as we believe that chemicals have no place in our daily skincare, we believe that farming with the use of synthetic chemicals is harmful to our bodies and entire ecosystem.
Oru Vermont facilities are powered by cows! To help our facility be as sustainably operated as possible, we purchase green energy from Vermont that is manufactured on cow farms by recycling methane gas.
