Make your morning a ritual
Whether your skincare routine is 3-steps or 10-steps, it’s likely one of the first things you do to start your day. So why not make it a ritual? Take a little extra time in the morning to focus on yourself, even if it’s a mere 5 minutes. Light your favorite candles, play some music and turn this time into a meditative experience, giving you the strength and balance you need to tackle the day ahead. Our products are treatments, and we encourage you to take the time and work in a some time for skincare to your daily regimen.
We’ve partnered with the incredible Deborah Hanekamp of Mama Medicine, to dive into her 3 pillars of wellness: Cleanse, Bless, and Protect. You can incorporate these pillars into your daily rituals to start your day with intention.
A double cleanse is a great way to purge pores of all of the dirt and grime that builds up throughout the day. We love to double Cleanser with the Regenerating Cleanser first to slough off dead skin cells and buff skin. Follow up with the Purifying Cleanser. This acts as a juice cleanse for your skin. As you cleanse, take the time to give yourself a facial massage and a few minutes to meditate and cleanse your mind as well. Envision negative thoughts vanishing and breathe in the idea of a clean, fresh start for the morning.
After you’re fully cleansed, take time to bless your skin and deeply nourish it with the most powerful, and arguably most important, steps in your regimen. Mist your skin with our Hydrating Floral Essence and apply the Rejuvenating Serum while your skin is still saturated. This provides nutrients and soothing properties that all skin needs. While blessing your physical being, bless yourself and your surrounds by burning palo santo, sage or your favorite candle.
The final step is to Protect. Massage eye area with our Restorative Eye Crème. Massage 5 times in one direction and 5 times in the other to stimulate lymphatic drainage.
