tata travels: dallas
Dallas is an amazing city nestled in the heart of Texas. From enormous skyscrapers to quaint little cafes, it makes for a trip that defines southern charm. Here are some of my favorite stops along the way…
The Joule is a stunning hotel in the heart of downtown Dallas. It’s location is very close to great shops, restaurants and everything that makes Dallas such a well known and adored city. It has a luxe infinity pool on the 9th floor which overlooks downtown and the famous eye sculpture located in the designer boutique Forty Five Ten. The Joule Spa offers Tata Harper Skincare treatments and its 8,000 square foot space offers a beautiful pool, sauna, ice fountain and crystal steam room.
Eat and Drink
The rooftop of Forty Five Ten is home to the incredible restaurant Mirador. I hosted a Luncheon here and the staff at the Mirador couldn’t have been nicer – we had such a wonderful time! They served a Farro Bowl with cauliflower, cherries and almonds that was delicious, along with whipped Ricotta Toast & Crispy Chicken Bites. The Mirador is high on my list as far as restaurant recommendations go!
This cafe has a lovely blue exterior along with a chic interior layout. They have hands down the best almond croissant – covered in powdered sugar and filled with almond paste. It was to die for! The Magnolia Latte, infused with lavender and a bit of vanilla, was also a team favorite.
My favorite spot for clean and healthy eats. They have seasonal lemonades and a strawberry salad that is perfect for sweltering summer days in Dallas. Build your own bowls are the way to go here! They also have vegan options for most items which is an added plus. I ordered a bowl with brown rice, sweet potatoes and bok choy that I seriously could eat everyday. Their most popular dish is the Mother Earth Bowl!
Amazing juice spot! The atmosphere is so bright and it’s pretty much impossible to not leave in a great mood, juice / smoothie in hand.
An exclusive clothing store curated by the incredible Taylor Tomasi Hill. It holds a beautiful outdoor patio which is home to the famous (and enormous) eye. We spent a lot of time here between the Mirador and our shopping excursions. A must see on your next trip to Dallas!
Awesome vibe with an exterior almost as beautiful as the interior. They sell everything from succulents to candles and offer a wide variety of products in their retail area. Just a step away is their restaurant, which juxtaposes the retail space – the restaurant is very bright and airy which nicely contrasts the dark mood lighting of their retail area.
Home stores are one of my weaknesses, and this one was of no exception. I wanted to bring home almost every piece they carried! They have very vibrant options of both large and accent pieces which could perk up any space.
I would love to hear about your favorite places in Dallas!
